Your Wall Space Artwork

Before we get fully immersed in these do's and don't's... we'd like to share a little of our philosophy of the Wall. As we've stated in other sections, the Wall is a visual experience. That's what engages people... that's what compels people to mouse over a wall space and ultimately click through to its landing page.

We know... after nearly five years of doing this... how the Wall works. So with that in mind, we've set a high standard of graphic (visual) presentation for The Tradeshow Wall and we encourage all spaceholders to create Wall space art that is both creative and compelling. And if you need a little help with that process, we're very good at it and we can create your Wall space art for you at a very nominal cost (see below).

Some Do's and Don't's

  1. Use good quality images. Even though you're only filling a 200 x 200 pixel space (as of the Third Wall), clear and bigger images will always work better.
  2. Crop into a big image to capture an essential element that grabs attention.
  3. Don't try to show a catalog page on a big postage stamp. Less is always more on the Wall.
  4. Don't use a lot of text. If fact, use VERY LITTLE text. Even NO TEXT is acceptable because remember, you have a 250-character popup message on mouseover that will give you all the text you need.
  5. Be creative. Think out of the cage. Stand out from the crowd.
  6. Use a professional or trained graphic designer to create your Wall space wherever possible.
  7. Don't be stuck on one idea. Your Wall space artwork can be changed out.
  8. Don't feel like you absolutely have to identify your company in the image. You can... but you don't have to in order to generate a click-through.
