What is The Tradeshow Wall?
Welcome to one of the most efficient and engaging reference and referral vehicles on the web...and a great resource discovery platform. The Tradeshow Wall, developed by producer/publisher Jeffrey D Brown (aka The Wallmaster), is the latest application of his Wall Engine that currently powers over 50 other Walls (many in the Guitar market).
Although we have launched other Walls in the tradeshow market for limited periods in years past, The Tradeshow Wall is an entirely different approach to using the Wall application. The big difference... We are offering FREE wall space to qualified companies and organizations within the tradeshow and event-related industries. The Tradeshow Wall will ultimately house multiple walls and provide a simple, easy-to-use "visual tool" to discover all kinds of products, services, companies and organizations... just by staring at the wall.
The Tradeshow Wall is really very simple. Stare at the wall... see something you're interested in? Just mouse over a Wall space and a popup will give you some additional information. Want more? Click the Wall space to be taken directly to the landing page or website for that spaceholder. That's it. While you're at it, when you click a wall space, a non-scientific vote is cast for that space and you'll be able to see the results on the Search and Vote Results Page.
Because the Wall is a "visual experience", we ask each spaceholder to produce creative, high-quality wall space artwork designed to capture the attention of visitors. This is in their best interest, but we have an ulterior motive. The walls also have a "work of art" flavor to them. We've learned over nearly five years of building walls that this adds to visitor engagement. Iit's not uncommon for visitors to spend long periods of time "staring and clicking" on the Wall.
Where are We Going with The Tradeshow Wall?
Thanks for asking. We're going big. We have over 1000 wall spaces on The Guitar Wall platform and we expect to do better than that on The Tradeshow Wall. It will take some time, but we're going to build an iconic site that offers benefits for all. In fact, over 100 companies have signed on and we're really just getting started.
The Wall is also organic. We'll help it go where the market wants to take it and we welcome your thoughts and suggestions. We'll also be blogging on The Tradeshow Wall Papers covering the growth of the wall and promoting it on all of our social media outlets including our Facebook page and Twitter feed. We hope you'll follow us through one source or another.
